Thermal Imaging

Thermal Imaging is uses high tech infared cameras to identify patterns of heat loss from a building that are invisible to the naked eye. This camera is able to determine the pattern of heat loss through the fabric of the building and heating system.

Infrared Thermography can be defined as seeing heat. It works on the principal that everything above -273ºC has energy which is invisible to the naked eye. By using high performance instruments we can not only see and measure this energy we can also take a picture of it, producing an infrared survey of your roof or building.

The readings from these surveys can then be used for such practical applications as assessing flat roofs for damaged insulation and trapped moisture allowing owners to make an informed decision whether to strip or overlay. Thermal imaging can also locate building defects such as missing insulation, delaminating render, condensation problems & can see energy loss
